At the table North made the lazy bid of 3NT. My correspondent sat East, and thinking that North would have a better diamond suit, led a spade. That was 660 to North-South. North should have at least taken his time with 3, which may have led to the fair 6 slam. South would have jumped to 5 and North might have judged to bid a sporting one for the road.

How would you play 6 from the South hand on the lead of 2?
