There is a subtle inference that West has cashed A and is waiting to claim his Q, and I suspect most players would lead J at trick two to see how West reacted. Anyway, declarer did exactly that and, yes, West paused before playing low. Accordingly South played low from dummy and J held, so South cashed A and when both defenders followed suit declarer claimed.
