Of course you continue the charade with a jump to 6spade, full of confidence! Carrying this through to its logical conclusion, when North doubles you must of course redouble (!!) ("I'm not afraid of the Heart lead...").

So, there is poor Peter Harvey, playing 6spade redoubled, when North confidently plonks diamondA on the table. After North, South and West had stopped swearing, declarer ruffed the lead and played a spade to the king. When no-one showed out he drew another round of trumps and went for the clubs. It took two ruffs to establish them but declarer still had a vital trump remaining to mop up dummy's last heart. 6spade redoubled? +2070. To nobody's surprise, this was a winning board
