The question was What is strange about this deal?

Apart from the undisputable fact that there have been many weird people looking at it, the answer is Neither South nor East can be prevented from making 3spade!

If South is declarer, West leads a minor suit card perforce and dummy wins the first four tricks with diamondAKQ and clubA while East follows and declarer ditches hearts. clubQ follows, so what does East do? If he ruffs low, South overruffs and loses only three trumps and a heart. If East ruffs high, South discards and makes ten tricks! If East discards on clubQ than he can still only come to his four trump winners. Meanwhile ..
