North opened 1spade and must have been close to finding a different rebid other than the minimum 2spade he selected, so when South bid 4diamond to show a spade fit with a singleton diamond North's hand became huge. 4NT was Roman Key Card Blackwood and 5club showed three of the five controls (king of trumps is the fifth ace).
