North led clubK against 5spade and South won perforce. A heart continuation was ruffed in the dummy and declarer played a club from dummy. Winning with the queen, North decided to ...
cut down on dummy's ruffing power and exited with a trump! Declarer won with spadeJ, cashed spadeK and crossed to hand with diamondK. After drawing the last trump he cashed all the diamonds to make eleven tricks.

As you can see, both North and East were wrong. North should have continued hearts to promote his partner's spadeQ, and declarer should have realise what South was up to and passed the spadeJ at trick 3. And East? He was very, very lucky!
