As partner holds ace or king of clubs, he cannot have either diamondA or diamondK - count declarer's points. Declarer has patently abandoned the fourth diamond in dummy - there is no entry to it. You can therefore spare a diamond, and it should be the jack to give partner the dual message that you started with four and also hold the ten. Partner can now tell that he can afford to throw diamond5 and this gives you a complete count. Declarer must be 4-4-2-3 and so you must retain all your clubs. At the table East ditched a club, declarer played ace and another club to make an unlikely +600. So, if you don't throw clubs early on, you have to hold on to them for grim death. Funny hand!

4spade anyone? I still can't tell if it makes double dummy.
