"You bet I do!" I hear you saying. It's usually losing tactics to Pass on these shapely hands where you are short in partner's suit - particularly at Pairs. If partner gets excited then you just bid spades until he, or in this case she, shuts up.

As it was North-South had just the perfect gadget for the hand. South was able to jump to 2spade, old style Precision, to show a weak hand and a six card suit. North jumped to game and West led heartQ. How do you play?
