After hearing his partner open an Acol 2club, showing 23+ points or a game going hand, Collings showed his long suit. North jumped to 4NT Blackwood and on hearing of the heartA opposite, jumped to 7diamond. Collings trustingly passed, but the contract was doubled by West.
