John Collings is recognised as one of the finest card players ever to emerge from our island. He originally won the Gold Cup, the premier British knock-out teams event, over 35 years ago playing with Jonathan Cansino. Recently Collings has enjoyed a new lease of his bridge life playing with Martin Jones and has added a couple more Gold Cup wins.
