Two diamonds was "mis-defended" for six off and +600 to East-West. In the other room, North found the only lead to beat West's 6diamond by leading ace and another spade. 6club by North-South is, of course, absolutely unbreakable, but it strikes me that South's punishment was greater than the crime, and that they were fixed by their own methods.
