At the table, West found the excellent pressure bid of 4diamond, but North-South still had enough gas in the tank to find game.

After an initial diamond lead won by the Ace, declarer led a heart to the queen, king and six. Playing for an overtrick, declarer played another heart but was surprised to see East win and draw two more rounds of trumps. After ruffing the diamond continuation, declarer was still able to cash the club and spade winners for plus +620.
