The second line is probably right if the defenders are not of top flight calibre. Imagine the distribution was as shown, as it was at the table. You win the opening lead with the diamondA and lead a club to the ace. Exuding confidence, you return to hand with a spade and lead another club. West is now down to clubKJ alone, and it takes a good player to play the clubJ without a flicker. Of course, you might decide that West isn't that good, change your mind and play low in an attempt to find East with a lone king. In Who wants to be a Millionaire parlance that would be a case of "You were +1430. You're now -100". Whatever the theory, we lost 13 IMPs on the board, when a declarer playing in 6heart won the opening lead, drew trumps and immediately played a club to the queen! There's no justice!!
