It is vital that a spade entry remains in hand to enable you to get back after ruffing the second club. You win the second spade in dummy (South) at trick three, club to the ace, ruff a club and draw the last trump pitching a diamond from hand as East throws a club. Now spade to hand to ruff another club isolates the club menace and East is left controlling both minors. When you throw another diamond from hand on dummy's last trump East has to surrender.
