Our annual simultaneous pairs event was held this week. It's called the George Taylor Trophy in recognition of George's great service to the game in our county. The hands are carefully selected by Paul Bowyer and he provides a suitably pithy commentary in the après ski booklet. As well as occasionally lavishing praise for quality play, Paul's notes have been known to comprise of sarcastic notes awarded to transgressors.
