West probably thinks he has two trump tricks so why not let him have them? Cash clubA at trick two and when all follow with low cards abandon trumps for good. You may have to assume that East has spadeQ but you can cater for West's presumed singleton being spade9 by leading spade10 at trick three. If East covers you will win spadeA, ruff a heart and lead a spade to the eight. Although West may ruff, cash clubK and switch to diamonds you still have plenty of time to pitch a losing diamond on spadeK (after finessing spade8) and ruff two diamonds in dummy.
