Not good I'd imagine. Never mind - there is always the opposition available to help. North must also have believed West's bidding and looked for an alternative lead. Superficially it looks as though West can make 7spade on a trump lead by squeezing North in the red suits, but there is no way for West to be able to draw trumps, cash clubs and return to hand to finish the job without destroying the end position. Never mind, North led heart10 anyway, and without any alternative West let this run around to clock up 2210. Neither East nor West had been guilty of underbidding, but it was diffcult to argue with the result! In the other room .
