If he cashes just two trumps, then when South wins clubA he must either lead a spade or give up a trump trick. However in this situation South must do exactly that, either by leading diamond10, or a spade and dropping the ten on the third round of trumps. In this way he cannot be forced to give the lead back to dummy. The mistake in this situation is to lead a small trump which declare can win high (!), cash spadeA and exit with a trump to South's diamond10. End-played again!
