I hope it was a heart! If you lead a trump - as happened originally, declarer wins and draws trumps. Even if he decides to postpone playing hearts in the hope of developing a club/heart squeeze it will be too late for the defence. The lucky heart position will give him at least eleven tricks.

A heart switch at trick three is called for. This isolates declarer from the long hearts and he can only ever make seven trumps, two hearts and a club ruff. Of course declarer could have made two overtricks after the initial lead, so top marks go to an opening lead of clubA followed by a heart switch.
