South made the obvious bid of 3NT over North's 2heart overcall, but it was soon apparent that 4heart would relatively easy. In this light of this declarer knew it would be necessary to make an overtrick to avoid a poor score.

West's spade6 lead was won by East's king and spadeJ returned. South covered and West won with the ace to return the nine, East following with the seven. Take it from here.
