The best way to continue is to lead a small club from the dummy, so you cover East's nine with the jack and West wins to clear the hearts. Returning to hand with a spade to the jack you lead club8 with the intention of running it (surely West must have the club honours on the bidding), but West covers and now it's East's turn to show out. After cashing three spade winners you come back to hand with diamondA to take the marked finesse against West's club7. Ten tricks in all and a juicy 950. That's the theory ..
