The hand comes from this year's Spring Foursomes where it created havoc in most matches. (All matches were playing the same computer-dealt boards). When England international John Armstrong was sitting East he contrived a piece of grand larceny. Losing heavily in the match and needing a swing, John opened with a sporting 3spade. West raised that to 4spade and North tried 5heart.
