Here North-South reached game without any opposition bidding! West led spadeQ so East won to switch to his singleton diamond! Perhaps he thought that his partner also had a few aces to go with his own two! Anyway declarer won in dummy and drew trumps, fearful of the diamond ruff potential. A heart was led and declarer went wrong by putting up the king - how naive to think that East wouldn't be looking for a ruff with two aces! But it didn't matter.
