Even given the opening lead I think that the contract is still beatable. Dummy wins so South draws three rounds of trumps, cashes diamondK and leads a club towards clubK. Now it is right for East to duck. South ruffs a diamond and leads clubQ. Again East ducks and declarer has no way home. With West holding spade10 then declarer cannot succeed even by coming off the dummy with a low spade. East must be brave and duck for a third time!

04/04/2026 I notice that the DDA confirms that 6heart is always beatable!
