How about a trump! This seemingly innocuous play seemed to have a mesmerising effect on declarer at the table. Instead of over-ruffing, unblocking clubA and playing to establish the clubs using dummy's trumps as entries, declarer inferred from North's ruff of his partner's winner that he was trying to protect minor suit values - specifically diamondQ. A finesse of dummy's diamond10 led to a mere 620 and a very good score for North-South.
