* Game forcing, any shape

North-South were playing an slightly unusual system. 2diamond was game forcing, any distribution, but the rest of the sequence was basically natural. It's highly dubious whether you would at to be in game with these cards - 3NT offers the best chance and even then you would probably need a friendly diamond position, heartQ onside and a 4-4 spade break. One very poor defender, a scribe of web articles, managed to let that contract through in comical fashion at another table - but I don't think we'll go there. Back to the job in hand .

How would you have played 5diamond on the lead of club6. East-West were playing fourth highest leads from good suits, second highest from poor ones.
