Desperate measures were called for - declarer played low at trick one hoping that West would not see the trap. Sure enough, heartQ followed next allowing the blocking diamondA to be pitched from dummy. When diamondJ fell on the second round of diamonds declarer knew she was home. She rattled off the remaining diamonds catching East in a black suit squeeze to land a very precarious contract.
