It would have been even easier had declarer ruffed a fourth club in dummy. Now a third diamond is ruffed by South and declarer promotes himself an extra trump winner even more straightforwardly by winning A and leading another diamond.
In the other room North played quietly in 1NT. At least I presume he was quiet because the defence took the first eleven tricks!
