Why not simply to play East for spadeK? Just play four round of clubs, pitching a diamond and a spade from dummy, and then diamondK, diamondA. East has to come down to five cards, of which only three can be red, so you throw him in with heart9 to give you two spade tricks. This fails if East has a singleton spadeK of course, but it also gains if West has found a bizarre play from three small hearts, when the recommended line also fails.

Assuming that East has spadeK then there might be a problem against an expert defender ..
