By leading club9 now and not the ace! The opposition will have to play two quick rounds of trumps to prevent you ruffing clubA in dummy, but that will suit you just fine.

At the table South won the opening lead with clubQ and cashed the ace. West ruffed and continued with ace and another diamond, so now declarer was left with club9 as a loser and finished a trick short. Understandably careless, but this type of play is much easier to spot on paper or web page.
