In the other room the contract and the first three tricks were the same, but when declarer led heart2 South ducked. With nothing to gain by finessing East rose with the king and made his game.

So, top marks for an initial heartA lead, followed closely by a trump. A low club comes next and then a club honour. One consolation mark for a low heart. No marks for a diamond.
