Looking at the deal you can that West need not have been worried about a major suit squeeze .. East had all the hearts covered! But if, after cashing A West switches to a trump, South simply wins and rattles off all his trumps to squeeze West in the black suits!! Declarer could have got home on the actual lead by winning and cashing five trumps, squeezing West without the count.
