* forcing

At trick four West cashed diamondA and ruffed a diamond. A spade ruff, diamond ruff, cashed dummy's clubK, spade ruff (South ditching a diamond) was followed by a diamond on which North put heart6. Declarer over-ruffed with dummy's last trump - the king - and led a club from the dummy. Although South's jack was winning the trick North was forced to ruff and lead a heart into the jaws of heartAJ. You know what they say - "If you bid them up you have to play them up too!"

Incidentally, if North had chosen a trump rather than a somewhat pointless club then declarer would have had no chance.
