Declarer had been fascinated to see East pitch a heart on third club and, giving his naive opponent every chance to go wrong, South drew the last trump with dummy's ten...

.. East threw his other "useless" heart!!! South pitched diamondQ9 on spadeAK and played a heart to the ace dropping West's jack. West was not amused.

You can see that 6heart is a also a possible contract, but that goes off on a club lead. 6NT would be successful however, ... as long as the double heart finesse doesn't prove too tempting!
