would fit the bill nicely, and I suspect that many Norths would bid 4, leading to a slam in spades. Indeed 7 is not an unreasonable contract but, as Ivan explains, if South had bid less agriculturally there would have been no story. So, your inclinations have led to a contract of 6NT and when West puts 2 on the table, how should you plan the play? Incidentally, if it's of any help, West hesitated over South's final bid.
