Note that if you cash AK when the trumps are 3-2 and the diamonds are 3-1 then you would still be looking at the loss of a trump, a diamond and two clubs. Unless
QJ is a doubleton then it's the two-two diamond break that's required on this deal, but you can cope with some of 4-1 trump breaks.
Note also that eleven tricks are trivial in diamonds and even twelve tricks are possible on this layout.
