~ forcing Stayman

This type of situation occurs quite regularly. On this lead partner cannot have more than two diamonds - so you must refrain from playing diamondQ or diamondK on the opening lead to ensure that South is not allowed the luxury of ducking. Forcing South to win one of his stoppers early means that when your partner gets in again he'll still have a diamond to play and you will now force out the ace. With the ace of clubs still in you hand you can win and cash three more diamonds. Nevertheless South doesn't play ball ..
