Strange Yet Inspired

Many years ago I remember Tony Sowter playing at the EBU summer congress at Brighton. He found himself on lead against a grand slam and after several minutes thought tabled his selected card. He'd led the only suit (declarer had bid it twice) to break up a squeeze and beat the slam. That was the good news. The bad news was that he'd led club3 from club103 and picked up partner's clubJ865 - dummy had singleton club7 and declarer clubAKQ942. On any other suit lead declarer would rattle off all the side winners and squeeze partner in the black suits for the vital thirteenth trick.

In today's hand you have nothing simpler to do than find a successful opening lead - against a grand slam.
