Your lead can make a difference of four tricks here. If you lead a spade, either ace and another, or a low one to partner's king, you can immediately take two spades a club ruff. The diamond switch knocks out dummy's outside entry and eventually the defence must come to another diamond winner.

There were Norths declaring 4heart, 5heart and 6heart, but they all took thirteen tricks when East failed to lead a spade. +1460 wasn't the best result though ..
