Incidentally, how would you have played 6heart on the defence of two rounds of spades? On this layout the winning line is to ruff a club immediately, cross to heartQ and ruff another club. When West shows out on heartA you cross to diamondQ and run club winners through East. This line certainly presents iteself - after all, West's pre-empt makes it likely that the hearts will not break 3-2. You can also get home by returning to hand with diamondA instead of ruffing a second club, but eventually this relies on East having three diamonds.
