As he would have been on lead against East's 6heart, South competed with 6spade, doubled by West. East led clubA so North ruffed in the dummy, crossed to spadeA and ditched three hearts on top club winners. A heart was ruffed and declarer came off the dummy with diamondJ, thus preventing East from gaining the lead and leading a killer second round of trumps. West could do better than continue diamonds but North simply cross-ruffed his way to twelve tricks and another +1210!
