with yet another pass... Three top hearts, a heart ruffed and over-ruffed were followed by ace and the ten of clubs, covered with the king and ruffed. A small diamond to East's ace, clubJ, and a diamond to West's king brought a four card end position. When West led a heart all South had to do was ruff high with the jack to hold the loss to 4000 points. However, he misjudged badly by ruffing with the nine and so had to concede eight off.

Not often you make a trivially beatable grand slam and concede well over 2000 points!!!
