Most players I guess would have passed and prayed. In effect, North having made the bed should lay in it! Well this particular North didn't fancy defending 4spade doubled and decided to bid 5heart, which was doubled in turn by West. It was quite clear before dummy's cards were on the table that South wasn't wholly appreciative of his partner's efforts, so you can imagine North's thoughts when he saw dummy - 4spade would not have been exactly laydown.
