Both West and East can defeat you. If West switches to a trump at trick two then although you can establish a heart trick for the discard as before, too many of dummy's trumps are consumed in the process and South is left with a diamond loser.

The spectacular defence is East's - he must ignore declarer's present and overtake heartJ at trick one to switch to a club! With no immediate entry to dummy, South is doomed.
