Pass Pass Pass
South should ruff with an intermediate heart (nine or ten) and cash heartK to guard against four-nil breaks - either way. After your careful unblocking at trick two, when East shows out on heartK you can still arrange to end in dummy after all the trumps have been pulled. Needing to make four diamond tricks you should lead the nine first and, when that holds, follow with the queen. To lead the queen first means you lose a diamond to East when he starts with diamondKxxx(x) and refuses to cover.

Now look what really happened?
