. . . should East have doubled? In the write-up South was very critical of East's double, but I think that is a little harsh. The double gave West a much better chance of finding the killing spade lead - the club was very unimaginative. It's just a question of whether that is offset by the additional help given to declarer, enabling him to adopt a different line from the normal one. What do you think?
