The best line is to win diamondA and lead a low trump at trick two! This avoids all the hassle with entries and restricts the trump losers to a maximum of one, except where there are really nasty distributions. As for the two lines adopted in the match, I have little sympathy for either declarer. Both lines were rather sloppy.
