Did you lead heartK at trick two? I maintain that, albeit with the benefit of seeing all four hands, that it is definitely the correct play. The defence will not have the flexibility of deciding who can win the trick - and ideally you'd prefer North not to win it, so don't give him the chance! Look what happens:- South wins and switches to a trump, so declarer wins and ruffs a heart low - bringing down the queen. A trump to hand and another low heart is ruffed. North can win if he likes but East's only other loser is clubK. Fortunate - no doubt. Good technique? You answer that one!
