Now you can cash heartAKQ and as LHO again discards on the third round you can ruff the fourth in safety. Although you can ruff a diamond in hand but you cannot avoid a trump and spade loser, along with that feeling that you could have done better. Whilst you are thinking about a) how much the opposition would have gone for in 3diamond doubled and b) why you bid to six in the first place, partner compounds your distress by suggesting that you could have made the contract.
