The one thing South must not do after ruffing at trick one is to lead a low club to hand, ruff the other spade and play clubK. If a defender started with clubAxxx then declarer risks losing control - the defence will now win clubA and force you with spades. At the table declarer played clubK at trick two, intending to play a second if that was ducked. Now if a defender ducked again with clubAxxx then South could ruff his last spade and play on diamonds - losing just two trump tricks. And what about the play in 6club?
